Chemerin-9 (149-157) TFA is a peptide located at positions 149-157 of chemerin-9, retaining most of the activity of the full protein. Chemerin-9 acts as a ChemR23/CMKLR1 agonist, preventing atherosclerosis whilst inhibiting NLRP3 inflammasome activation and promoting Abeta microglial clearance. It modulates blood pressure and sympathetic nervous system activity via glutamate receptor-mediated ROS production.
