Anwendungsbeschreibung:
Sibiriline is a novel dual inhibitor of necroptosis and ferroptosis.1,2 It prevents necroptosis via inhibition of RIPK1 (IC50 = 1.1 µM) and ferroptosis via inhibition of phospholipid peroxidation acting as a radical trapping antioxidant. Sibiriline displayed neuroprotective effects in a mouse model of Parkinsons disease.
