Mortality Factor 4 (MORF4), known also as SEN1 and cellular senescence-related protein 1. MORF4 is a nuclear localized protein possessing transcription factor-like motifs such as helix-loop-helix and a leucine zipper motif that are believed to allow it to form transcriptionally active homo- or heterodimers. MORF4 has been shown to bind to the transcription co-repressors mSin3A and TLE, suggesting that together, these complexes may play a role in transcriptional repression of genes that lead to cellular senescence. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (paraffin) and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 5ug/ml Western Blot: 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Human brain tissue Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable at -20C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Purity: Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Form: Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with Biotin.
