C-terminal region of human p63 MAP kinase (cDNA/GST expressed in E. coli).
MaxLight(TM) 550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor(TM)546, 555, DyLight(TM)549 , Cy3(TM), TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (550nm), Emission (575nm), Extinction Coefficient 150,000. The heterogeneous expression of human MAP (Mitogen Activated Protein) kinase isoforms in differentiated tissues may reflect the diversity of the signal transduction pathways in differentiated cells. MAP kinases also known as erks have been established to function as important mediators of signal transduction by growth factor receptors. Several components of the MAP kinase signal transduction pathway have been demonstrated to be oncogenically activated in malignant tumors. The genes that encode MAP kinases therefore represent potential targets for carcinogenic penetration. These include the p63 MAP kinase (erk-3 related) 18q 12-21 gene loci site. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 5-10ug/ml Immunoprecipitation: 5ug/sample Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight(TM)550 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
