Integrin alpha 3, also known as CD49c and VLA-3 alpha, is a type I membrane protein that heterodimerizes with Integrin beta 1. Alpha 3 beta 1 is a cell surface adhesion molecule that functions as a receptor for laminin, fibronectin, collagen, epiregulin, thrombospondin and chondroitan sulfate proteoglycan 4. The extracellular domains of human and mouse Integrin alpha 3 share ~87% aa sequence homology. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells with XB-2 cells Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
