HCV NS3 antigen, Rrecombinant aa1450-1643 of HCV polyprotein (22kD). Fusions: b-galactosidase (114kD) fused at the N-terminus. Specificity: Reactivity with human HCV positive serum undetermined. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA or for antigen applications in immunological protocols. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Note: Polypeptide may be proteolytically active and thus care should be taken to prevent possible auto-degradation over time in the liquid state. Frozen storage is recommended and protease inhibitors may be useful as additives for liquid storage and handling. Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
