Human Apolipoprotein used for coating microplates and as a ligand for immunosorbent preparation. Apolipoproteins are lipid-binding proteins which enable the transport of dietary lipids for storage, metabolism and secretion. Apolipoprotein A-1 (also known as Apo-A1) plays an important part in the removal of cholesterol from cells. Source: Human Plasma Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
