| The tetramer binds two molecules of protoheme IV. It is a homotetramer involved in tryptophan catabolism. There is a broad specificity towards tryptamine and derivatives including D- and L-tryptophan, 5-hydroxytryptophan and serotonin. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human TDO2, fused to T7 tag at N-terminal expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~46.7kD Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
