| For the quantitative determination of mouse free testosterone (F-TESTO) in serum and plasma. Sensitivity: 35pg/ml Detection Range: 67-1000pg/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of mouse F-TESTO. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse F-TESTO and analogues was observed. Assay Principle: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with antigen. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated testosterone antibody. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between testosterone (Standards or samples) and pre-coated testosterone with HRP labeled testosterone antibody. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of F-TESTO in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured. Kit Components: Microtiter Strips, 1x96 wells Standard (Freeze dried), 2xvial Biotin-antibody (100X), 1x120ul HRP-avidin (100X), 1x120ul Biotin-antibody Diluent, 1x15ml HRP-avidin Diluent, 1x15ml Sample Diluent, 1x50ml Wash Buffer (25X), 1x20ml TMB Substrate, 1x10ml Stop Solution: 1x10ml Storage and Stability: Store all kit components at 4C. Stable for 6 months after receipt. Once opened, the kit is stable for 1 month providing this is within the expiration date of the kit. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
