For the quantitative determination of rabbit Fibronectin (FN1) in serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates. Sensitivity: 1.25ng/ml Detection Range: 1.25-20ng/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of rabbit FN1. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between rabbit FN1 and analogues was observed. Assay Principle: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with FN1. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody preparation specific for FN1. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with pre-coated FN1 and FN1 in samples. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of FN1 in the samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
