| For the quantitative determination of rabbit Estradiol in serum and plasma. Sensitivity: 62.5pg/ml Detection Range: 62.5-1000pg/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of rabbit E2. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between rabbit E2 and analogues was observed. Assay Principle: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to E2. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Biotin-conjugated E2. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between E2 (Standards or samples) and Biotin-conjugated E2 with the pre-coated antibody specific for E2. The more amount of E2 in samples, the less antibody bound by Biotin-conjugated E2. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of E2 in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured. Kit Components: Microtiter Strips, 1x96 wells Standard, 5x1ml Conjugate, 1x6ml HRP-avidin, 1x6ml Wash Buffer (20X), 1x15ml Substrate A, 1x7ml Substrate B, 1x7ml Storage and Stability: Store all kit components at 4C. Stable for 6 months after receipt. Once opened, the kit is stable for 1 month providing this is within the expiration date of the kit. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
