| For the quantitative determination of rabbit Corticosterone in serum and plasma. Sensitivity: 0.5ng/ml Detection Range: 0.5-20ng/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of rabbit CORT. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between rabbit CORT and analogues was observed. Assay Principle: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antigen. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with antibody specific for CORT and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated goat-anti-mouse antibody. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with pre-coated CORT and CORT in samples. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of CORT in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured. Kit Components: Microtiter Strips, 1x96 wells Standard, 7x1ml Antibody, 1x7ml HRP-conjugate, 1x14ml Wash Buffer (10X), 1x50ml TMB Substrate, 1x12ml Storage and Stability: Store all kit components at 4C. Stable for 6 months after receipt. Once opened, the kit is stable for 1 month providing this is within the expiration date of the kit. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
