| For the quantitative determination of human cholecystokinin octapeptide in serum and plasma. Sensitivity: 0.357ng/ml Detection Range: 0.57-10ng/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of human CCK-8. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between human CCK-8 and analogues was observed. Assay Principle: This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for CCK-8 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells with a Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody specific for CCK-8. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of CCK-8 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured. Kit Components: Microtiter Strips, 1x96 wells Standard (lyophilized), 1x6vial HRP-conjugate, 1x6ml Wash Buffer (20X), 1x15ml Substrate A, 1x7ml Substrate B, 1x7ml Storage and Stability: Store all kit components at 4C. Stable for 6 months after receipt. Once opened, the kit is stable for 1 month providing this is within the expiration date of the kit. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
