C12 NBD Phytoceramide (t18:0/12:0) is a ceramide analogue consisting of plant-derived phytoceramide and the green fluorescent group C12 NBD. This compound acts as a fluorescent substrate (Ex=485 nM, Em=525 nM) and can be utilized to assess the activity of ceramidases, such as the diacylglycerol acyltransferase Lro1p.
