Antitubercular agent-54 is an antitubercular compound with significant intracellular activity in macrophages (EC50 of 0.68 µM). It exhibits a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 0.31 µM against Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) H37Rv cultured with cholesterol. Antitubercular agent-54 is applicable in tuberculosis research.
