JSF-4898 is an orally bioactive inhibitor of Mycobacterium tuberculosis MenG enzyme. It exhibits a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 0.78 µM against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv. Additionally, JSF-4898 enhances the efficacy of rifampicin in a subacute infection model of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in mice.
