A portion of amino acids 332-364 from human Bone morphogenetic protein 8B was used as the immunogen for the BMP8B antibody.
Bone morphogenetic protein 8B induces cartilage and bone formation. May be the osteoinductive factor responsible for the phenomenon of epithelial osteogenesis. Plays a role in calcium regulation and bone homeostasis (By similarity).
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the BMP8B antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
