A portion of amino acids 177-206 from human IL1A was used as the immunogen for this IL-1 antibody.
IL1A is produced by activated macrophages and stimulates thymocyte proliferation by inducing IL-2 release, B-cell maturation and proliferation, and fibroblast growth factor activity. IL-1 proteins are involved in the inflammatory response, being identified as endogenous pyrogens, and are reported to stimulate the release of prostaglandin and collagenase from synovial cells. Western blot: 1:1000,IHC (Paraffin): 1:50-1:100,Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50
Application Notes:
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting amounts. Titration of the IL-1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
