SRI-29574 is an allosteric modulator of the dopamine transporter (DAT). SRI-29574 partially inhibits the uptake of the DAT (IC50=2.3 nM) and also partially inhibits the uptake of the serotonin transporter (SERT) and norepinephrine transporter (NET). SRI-29574 may serve as a useful probe to study the function and regulatory mechanisms of DAT[1].
