Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Interleukin 1 alpha in sterile 18MO-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. Biological Activity: The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependant stimulation of murine D10S cells is < 0.001 ng/ml, corresponding to a Specific Activity of 1 x 109 IU/mg.
