MaxLight(TM)490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight(TM)488, Alexa Fluor(TM)488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm), Emission (515nm), Extinction Coefficient 73,000. Mortality Factor 4 (MORF4), known also as SEN1 and cellular senescence-related protein 1. MORF4 is a nuclear localized protein possessing transcription factor-like motifs such as helix-loop-helix and a leucine zipper motif that are believed to allow it to form transcriptionally active homo- or heterodimers. MORF4 has been shown to bind to the transcription co-repressors mSin3A and TLE, suggesting that together, these complexes may play a role in transcriptional repression of genes that lead to cellular senescence. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (paraffin) and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 5ug/ml Western Blot: 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Human brain tissue Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight(TM)490 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
