Immunogen: Partial recombinant corresponding to aa354-454 from AP4M1 (NP_004713) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
This gene encodes a subunit of the heterotetrameric AP-4 complex. The encoded protein belongs to the adaptor complexes medium subunits family. This AP-4 complex is involved in the recognition and sorting of cargo proteins with tyrosine-based motifs from the trans-golgi network to the endosomal-lysosomal system. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. AA Sequence: AELAEGALRWDLPRVQGGSQLSGLFQMDVPGPPGPPSHGLSTSASPLGLGPASLSFELPRHTCSGLQVRFLRLAFRPCGNANPHKWVRHLSHSDAYVIRI Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
