| For the quantitative determination of chicken tumor necrosis factor alpha in serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates. Sensitivity: 0.27pg/ml Detection Range: 0.27-200pg/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of chicken TNF-alpha. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between chicken TNF-alpha and analogues was observed. Assay Principle: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with TNF-alpha. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody specific to TNF-alpha. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with pre-coated TNF-alpha and TNF-alpha in samples. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of TNF-alpha in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured. Kit Components: Microtiter Strips, 1x96 wells Standard (Freeze dried), 2xvial HRP-conjugate (100X), 1x60ul HRP-conjugate Diluent, 1x20ml Sample Diluent, 2x20ml Wash Buffer (25X), 1x20ml TMB Substrate, 1x10ml Stop Solution, 1x10ml Storage and Stability: Store all kit components at 4C. Stable for 6 months after receipt. Once opened, the kit is stable for 1 month providing this is within the expiration date of the kit. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
