For the quantitative determination of mouse beta2-microglobulin concentrations in serum, plasma, urine, and tissue homogenates. Sensitivity: 0.156ug/ml Detection Range: 0.156-10ug/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of mouse beta2-MG. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse beta2-MG and analogues was observed. Assay Principle: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antigen. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells with a biotin-conjugated beta2-MG antibody. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between beta2-MG (Standards or samples) and pre-coated beta2-MG with the biotin-conjugated antibody. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in opposite to the amount of beta2-MG in sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured. Kit Components: Microtiter Strips, 1x96 wells Standard (Freeze dried), 2xvial Biotin-antibody (100X), 1x60ul HRP-avidin (100X), 1x120ul Biotin-antibody Diluent, 1x10ml HRP-avidin Diluent, 1x20ml Sample Diluent, 1x20ml Wash Buffer (25X), 1x20ml TMB Substrate, 1x10ml Stop Solution: 1x10ml Storage and Stability: Store all kit components at 4C.
