For the quantitative determination of mouse Apolipoprotein D (APOD) concentrations in serum, plasma, and urine. Sensitivity: 3.12ng/ml Detection Range: 3.12-200ng/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of mouse APOD. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse APOD and analogues was observed. Assay Principle: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with APOD. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody preparation specific for APOD. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with pre-coated APOD and APOD in samples. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of APOD in the samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured. Kit Components: Microtiter Strips, 1x96 wells Standard (freeze dried), 2xvial HRP-conjugate (100X), 1x 60ul HRP-conjugate Diluent, 1x10ml Sample Diluent, 2x20ml Wash Buffer (25X), 1x20ml TMB Substrate, 1x10ml Stop Solution: 1x10ml Storage and Stability: Store all kit components at 4C. Stable for 6 months after receipt. Once opened, the kit is stable for 1 month providing this is within the expiration date of the kit. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
