Oscillamide C (TFA) (Compound 2) is a cyclic peptide containing a urea group that acts as an inhibitor of protein phosphatase 1 (PP1) and protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A), with IC50 values of 0.90 µM and 1.33 µM, respectively. It can be isolated from the cyanobacteria Planktothrix agardhii and P. rubescens, and is applicable in cancer research.
