Heart-homing peptide TFA is a pentapeptide with the sequence CRPPR. This linear peptide contains arginine and has been identified as a heart-homing peptide due to its ability to specifically bind to cardiac endothelium. Cysteine-rich protein-2 (CRIP-2) has been proposed as its receptor. Heart-homing peptide TFA can be used for liposome binding.
