Ailancoumarin E (Compound 5) is a derivative of coumarin. It exhibits deterrent effects against Plutella xylostella and inhibits the growth of its third instar larvae. Additionally, Ailancoumarin E inhibits tyrosinase with an IC50 of 14.21 µM.
