SOD1-aggregation-IN-1 (compound 20) is a potent inhibitor of SOD aggregation. It effectively inhibits the aggregation of mutant SOD1 induced by MG132 in PC12-SOD1G85RYFP cells, with an EC50 value of 2.63 µM. SOD1-aggregation-IN-1 is applicable for research in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
