FITC-PEG-N3 (MW 5000) is an azide-functionalized fluorescent dye incorporating polyethylene glycol (PEG) and FITC. As a click chemistry reagent, it features an azide group that enables copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions (CuAAc) with alkyne-containing molecules. Additionally, it participates in strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules bearing DBCO or BCN groups.
