DL-m-Tyrosine is a non-proteinogenic amino acid. It inhibits microbial proliferation and spore formation, and significantly suppresses root development of lettuce, Arabidopsis thaliana and other plants. Combined with carbidopa, it exerts significant antihypertensive pharmacological activity and can be used as a research tool in the development and mechanism exploration of biopesticides.
