The ReaScan+ reader is a compact, highly sensitive, robust, and cost-effective measurement system for ReaScan+ reader compatible lateral flow tests. It is designed to perform reflective optical measurements that can be used to detect or quantify target analytes on the lateral flow test cassettes.

ReaScan+ reader has touch screen with an easy to use User Interface which supports multiple languages. There is also optional 1D/2D barcode scanner to automate the input of sample or patient ID. The 2D code on ReaScan cassettes is automatically scanned to verify the correctness of the test.  ReaScan+ reader can store up to 300 results into the internal non-volatile memory. User and Patient ID, date and time and test kit batch number are stored with each result for maximum traceability. Results can be automatically transferred to the LIS or laboratory middleware via separate interface. ReaScan+ Connect Server acts as an interface between ReaScan+ reader and a Host System. The program is used to transfer the results from the ReaScan+ devices to third party software via file exchange.
