Amino acids 766-784 (RFKMLAELYGSDPREELLY-human) were used as the immunogen for this VE Cadherin antibody.
VE-Cadherin is a classic cadherin, imparting to cells the ability to adhere in a homophilic manner. The protein may play an important role in endothelial cell biology through control of the cohesion and organization of the intercellular junctions and in maintaining newly formed vessels.
