A portion of amino acids 255-289 from human Vesicular glutamate transporter 2 was used as the immunogen for the VGLUT2 antibody.
Vesicular glutamate transporter 2 mediates the uptake of glutamate into synaptic vesicles at presynaptic nerve terminals of excitatory neural cells. May also mediate the transport of inorganic phosphate.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the VGLUT2 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
