Immunogen:
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide directed towards the N terminal region of human PANX2
Alternative Names:
PX2, hPANX2
PANX2 belongs to the innexin family. Innexin family members are the structural components of gap junctions. This protein and pannexin 1 are abundantly expressed in central nerve system (CNS) and are coexpressed in various neuronal populations. Studies in Xenopus oocytes suggest that this protein alone and in combination with pannexin 1 may form cell type-specific gap junctions with distinct properties. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the innexin family. Host: Rabbit Target: PANX2 Positive control (+): Human Liver (LI) Negative control (-): Human Lung (LU) Antibody concentration: 0.5ug/ml
25 ug of the indicated Human whole cell extracts was loaded onto a 12% SDS-PAGE gel. 3 ug/mL of the antibody was used in this experiment. Band appears higher due to modifications from glycosylation and phosphorylation.
